Shri. Babubhai C Patel
FOUNDER & PARTNER – CANBERRA CHEMICALS
Shri. Babubhai C Patel is one of the founding fathers of Canberra Chemicals. He has completed his MSc in Organic Chemistry from Bombay University in the year 1962. He has vast experience of 60 Years in the field of Chemicals, Pharmaceuticals and Environmental studies.
He has commenced his profession in 1962 as a lecturer at Ramrarain Ruia College, Bombay. There after he worked as a partner at Ruhr Chemicals, Dombivali, Bombay from 1964 to 1969. He has given consulting services to put in plants of Bulk Drugs, Dyes and Chemicals and co-jointly taken Turnkey projects for pharma bulk drugs and dyes intermediates in India and across the globe.

Presentation of Paper cum Lectures on Environmental Issues
- Paper Cum Lecture given on Environmental issues on the occasion of 18th Annual Conference of Indian Council of Chemist on 28th Dec. 1999 at North Maharashtra University, Jalgaon.
- Visited Japan in the year 1997 for Environmental Studies along with G.P.C.B. and Forest & Environmental personnel on invitation by International Centre for Environment Technology Transfer (ICETT).
- Visited China in the year 1999 for Turnkey Project of Pharma Bulk Drug.
- NIA has elected & nominated as Lifetime Chairman of NIA, CETP & NECL.
- As on today running R & D Centre for waste to wealth and also waste management of spent acid, Reuse of waste and recycle of treated effluent to get 12 MLD recovered water having good quality to be reused, by Industries Member.
- CPCB has published guidelines for “Framework on Identification material generated from industrial process as Waste or By-product”. For the better implementation of the said guideline, the expert is revised committee which comprising Member BABUBHAI C. PATEL is also included vide office Order No. CPCB/HAZ-GEN-713/591729 Dt.: 04.06.2021.
